The month of December (2016) has Natalie Portman starring as Jacqueline Kennedy, in the immediate aftermath of John F. Kennedy's assassination in 1963. Star Wars ignites the Big Screen again with a stand alone film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and next year Star Wars VIII hits screens on December 15, 2017. Jennifer Lawrence stars in Passengers, another Sci-Fi film and this time her skin is not blue (X-Men: Apocalypse as Mystique for those of you missing the "blue" meaning), and Assassin's Creed goes from video game to big screen.

The month of November (2016) has another Marvel character hitting the big screen, Benedict Cumberbatch is Doctor Strange and you'll see more of him on the upcoming Marvel releases of Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Mel Gibson directs Hacksaw Ridge which is about a WWII American Army Medic. Author J.K. Rowling delivers another adventure, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Billy Bob Thornton returns in Bad Santa 2.

The month of October (2016) will see the return of the Two-Toms: Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher, Ron Howard directs Tom Hanks in Inferno the third movie based on Dan Brown's novels about Robert Langdon - this time it's a race to foil a deadly global plot, and Ben Affleck (aka: Batman) stars in The Accountant.

The month of September (2016) will see the return of Jerry Lewis to the big screen in Max Rose, a remake of The Magnificent Seven (the original featured stars like Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen and Charles Bronson), this one stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Jason Momoa and Ethan Hawke.

The month of August (2016) will see the return of Will Smith to the big screen in Suicide Squad, Disney remaking Pete's Dragon and Jason Statham reprising his role in Mechanic: Resurrection.

The month of July (2016) will see the return of Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, Kristen Stewart (Twilight Saga) can be seen in two movies Equals and Cafe Society, and the next Star Trek intallment takes us Beyond the furthest reaches of uncharted space.

The month of June (2016) will see 3 sequels: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, The Conjuring 2 and Independence Day: Resurgence. Also, Legendary’s "Warcraft" is a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe.

May 2016 Movie Releases. The month of May will see two Marvel Movies Captain America: Civil War and X-Men Apocalypse hit the big screen, and Johnny Depp is back in Alice Through the Looking Glass.
