Dragon Lore: Curse of the Shadow (aka: SAGA: The Shadow Cabal) starts with a ruthless elven bounty huntress Nemyt (Danielle Chuchran) shooting down a dragon ridden by a fugitive orc shaman, Fangtor Bloodmoon. When Fangtor refuses to surrender quietly, the huntress must battle for her own life against the dangerous villain, and comes away with more than just his head.
The film is a combination of "Lord of the Rings" and "Dungeons & Dragons", but not as large a budget as either. It's a well crafted adventure, fantasy that delivers a well written story, action sequences that work and decent effects. Those looking for, and hoping for good fantasy films, will like this little nugget of sword and sorcery fun.

The team from MainStay Productions usually takes over different parts in their movies: John Lyde is for example also one of General Drennon's guards and plays the shadow agent during the fight scenes. Paul D. Hunt is also a guard, and together with Danielle Chuchran the trio practiced that fight at home. The same holds for John Lyde, Danielle Chuchran and Adam Abram in Fangtor's fight.
They are also working on another film called Mythica. “Mythica” follows the adventures of Marek, a wizard born with the dark power of necromancy, as she learns to harness the power that threatens to corrupt her, and build a team of adventurers to battle Szorlok, the legendary Necromancer.
