In light of the tragic news of the death of Paul Walker, Universal has announced that production on their "Fast and Furious 7" film is completely shut down. The James Wan-directed film was set for release on July 11, 2014, and that date looks highly unlikely to still happen.

British distributors Entertainment One have revealed that they are planning to bring to Blu-ray David Twohy's sci-fi thriller Riddick (2013), starring Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Katee Sackhoff, Dave Bautista, and Matt Nable. The preliminary release date set by the studio is January 13, 2014.

"You're not afraid of the dark, are you?" Vin Diesel growls in the first TV spot for Riddick, alluding to both the character's first onscreen adventure and one of his distinguishing attributes.
