'The Fast & the Furious' Franchise Brings Back, Lucas Black from Tokyo Drift

The Fast & the Furious franchise continues rolling forward with #7, #8 and #9 planned for the future. Also the actors from earlier films rev up for role reprisals.

Lucas Black is back from "Tokyo Drift (2006)" reprising his role as Boswell in next summer's Fast & Furious 7 film. Not only that, but he's on board for the long haul, as Black is set to appear in both the eighth and ninth entries in this durable and well-tuned franchise.

Lucas Black film credits include: 42, Seven Days in Utopia, Legion, Friday Night Lights, Killer Diller and more.

Director James Wan is in production on the seventh installment, which is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia.  Morgan returns as screenwriter, while Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Tony Jaa, and Djimon Hounsou are all on board.

Fast & Furious 7 brings Boswell back to theaters on July 11, 2014.

Also on another note, but Fast Car related, Need for Speed the movie hits theaters next summer as well.
