The Crow (1994) starring Brandon Lee, gets a re-make by Relativity Media with a $40,000,000 (estimated) budget, a cost 4x higher than the original film, and it will be directed by Corin Hardy.

The new Crow is targeted for a 2016 release and currently has Jack Huston as Eric Draven. There is not much on the other players yet, but we'll let you know more as things develop.

The basic plot of The Crow: Eric, a poetic guitarist, is brought back to life by a crow a year after him and his wife are murdered.

Currently British director Corin Hardy directed The Hallow, which marks his feature film debut and is set to Premiere at Sundance Film Festival in the increasingly fertile Midnight section, and is seen by buyers as having franchise potential.

The Hallow is an edge-of your-seat horror that twists the traditional fairy-tale on its head.
