The movie by Disney "Frozen" grabbed the number one spot this weekend, as frigid tempertures and snow fell across the country, and it knocked "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" down a notch, at number two.

The newcomer on the movie scene this weekend was "Out of the Furnace" which grabbed the number three spot with $5.3 million, but it was a major disappointment, the film looked too dark and grim for Holiday movie goers this weekend and the low box office take reflects that.

Upcoming Movies...

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, on an epic quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain and the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.

Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas - Madea gets coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas, but the biggest surprise is what they'll find when they arrive. As the small, rural town prepares for its annual Christmas Carnival, new secrets are revealed and old relationships are tested while Madea dishes her own brand of Christmas Spirit to all.
