The third and final part of the Hunger Games Trilogy "Mockingjay" has begun filming, and there is still a couple months before the next installment "Catching Fire" blazes its way into theaters. So fans have good news on both counts.

"Catching Fire" the second Hunger Games Film hits theaters on November 22, 2013. "Mockingjay Part 1," the first of a two-part film finale, is scheduled to come out November 21, 2014.

The film stars: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Woody Harrelson and others.

Plot Summary:
"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a "Victor's Tour' of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could change Panem forever.

For those who may not know, The Hunger Games films are based on a trilogy of books written by Suzanne Collins.
