Olive Films will release 10 films for home cinema entertainment on May 26, 2015. Olive Films is a Chicago-based boutique theatrical and home entertainment distribution label dedicated to bringing independent, foreign, documentary, and classic films to life.

Quick List (Details Below)

AUSCHWITZ: Filmmaker Uwe Boll’s Auschwitz is a daring docu-drama depicting the atrocities of the Holocaust set inside of the most notorious of concentration camps. Combining archival footage, dramatic reenactments and current on-camera interviews, the film attempts to provide the viewer with an understanding of the “how” and “why” of such genocide. Bookended with an introduction by the provocative director and interviews with a number of high school teens quizzed on their knowledge of Auschwitz and the Holocaust, Boll provides a sobering perspective on a powerful, compelling and tragic piece of world history.

BEYOND REMEDY: In a film that brings to mind classic chillers such as Then There Were None, Beyond Remedy director Gerhard Hross (who authored the haunting crime-thriller Possession) brings together an ensemble cast of young, attractive and talented actors to inhabit the lives of characters placed in jeopardy as they try to elude a crazed killer. When a group of medical students are invited to participate in an alternative therapy study dealing with phobias, each student must face their personal fears head on in order to be cured.

DRAWN IN BLOOD: Evoking classic suspense films such as Rear Window, The Tenant, and The Bird With The Crystal Plumage, Drawn In Blood becomes a showcase for director Péter Palátsik’s stylish take on the genre with stunning results.

eMANcipation: In his approach to the taboo subject, director Philipp Muller-Dorn interviewed numerous victims and spent years researching the domestic abuse of males before committing himself to writing and directing the drama eMANcipation.

ERIK THE VIKING: Erik The Viking stars two Academy Award winners, Mickey Rooney (Best Supporting Actor for The Black Stallion) and Tim Robbins (Best Director for Dead Man Walking), and Tony Award and Grammy Award nominated chanteuse, the legendary Eartha Kitt.

HEART OF AMERICA: Michael Pare and Patrick Muldoon, Blackwoods co-stars, reunite in director Uwe Boll’s Heart of America.

PLANET USA: In the “on-the-verge-of-the-apocalypse” film genre, Planet USA offers thrills, chills and adventure with our planet on the brink of extinction.

SKI SCHOOL: Prior to his acting career, Ski School co-star Mark Thomas Miller performed in the band “Trash,” and worked as a bodyguard for Van Halen.

YELLOWBEARD: Yellowbeard features reunions of several comedy film collaborators including three of the Monty Python troup (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Eric Idle), the cast of Young Frankenstein (Madeline Kahn, Peter Boyle, Kenneth Mars and Marty Feldman) and the comic duo Cheech & Chong (Richard Anthony ‘Cheech’ Marin and Tommy Chong).

ZOMBIES FROM OUTER SPACE: In a nod to the "B" sci-fi films of the 1950's, Zombies From Outer Space offers thrills, chills, romance and laughs.
