'Terra Nova' will Conclude it's First Season on Dec. 19 with a Two Hour Finale

Terra Nova on FoxTerra Nova will conclude its first season run the same way it started: with a two-hour episode on December 19.

The only questioning remaining, considering the show hasn't been able to break 10 million viewers per week and is one of the most expensive on television to produce, is whether or not this will be a series finale or just a season finale.

These short seasons aren't helping them. It works on HBO, Showtime and in the UK because audiences are  use to this format, but most North American TV audiences are used to full seasons of 22-24 episodes, so there's room for a lot of things to happen. Especially early on networks and show creators need to build up people's attachment to the show and characters.
