A massive selection of official images from Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D has been loaded online.

An update of the classic Bram Stoker tale, this new Dracula represents horror master Argento’s first swing at making a movie in 3D.

Previously, the maestro has stuck to more traditional (even old-fashioned) types of horror, most famously with the blood-soaked likes of Suspiria and Deep Red.

In Dracula 3D, Rutger Hauer takes on the iconic role of Van Helsing, while Argento’s daughter Asia plays Drac victim Lucy.

The critics haven’t been kind  to Argento’s more recent films, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares doing something a little bit different.

Check out a selection of the new images below, and head over to the film's official website for the full set…

Dracula 3D opens in 2012.
