Vin Diesel Shares Two New 'Fast Six' ImagesVin Diesel Shares Two New 'Fast Six' Images

A decade ago, there was only one The Fast and the Furious movie and our shared image of a guy who spends a lot of time sharing stuff online looked a lot like Comic Book Guy on The Simpsons.  Now, the sixth entry in the Fast/Furious franchise is shooting abroad and Vin Diesel stands as a testament to the demographic variability of social media.

Mr. Diesel has shared two pretty slick images from Fast Six, one featuring himself and two cool cars, the other featuring himself, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, and one of Dwayne Johnson's ridiculously huge arms.

Johnson himself has been using his Twitter to share quite a few little candid images from the set.  Diesel long ago proved a big Facebook proponent, using his personal Facebook to promote the as-yet untitled Riddick sequel he shot just before moving onto Fast Six even before the sci-fi sequel existed.  Now, he's offering a few looks at Dominic Toretto, who remains a fan of V neck shirts.

Diesel shared this first image on his Facebook with the caption, "Im in an F6 state of mind...Post from the trailer."  Perhaps that means we'll be seeing the first Fast Six trailer sometime in the near future?

The second image was accompanied by the text, "Proud of Our team.  P.s. You really see the difference in the finished product when everyone, from crew to cast is striving to make magic.  Blessed."

Justin Lin is directing his fourth installment in the series, having reinvigorated the whole thing with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006 and created the most commercially successful entry with last year's Fast FiveChris Morgan has served as the screenwriter on all three of Lin's past Fast/Furious efforts, and he's behind the script this time, too.

So in addition to Diesel, Walker, and Johnson, the cast includes Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gina Carano, Joe Taslim, and Luke Evans as the new villain.

Fast Six is set to do its thing in theaters starting on May 24, 2013.
