New 'Resident Evil: Retribution' Images and International PostersNew 'Resident Evil: Retribution' Images and International Posters

So there's a new Resident Evil movie on the way, the fifth in the franchise based on an even longer-lived videogame series.  Resident Evil: Retribution is less than a month from hitting regular, 3D, and IMAX screens, so how about we take a look at four character images and two international posters from Paul W.S. Anderson's latest contribution to the cinema of stuff flying at your face?

Following the events of Resident Evil: Afterlife, franchise heroine Alice once again finds herself in the middle of the Umbrella Corporations schemes.  Unlike its predecessors, this sequel will apparently have a global reach, as Alice combats Umbrella's machinations in various locales across the planet.

It will also see the return of many familiar faces from the series.  These images, which debuted at RE Extreme, show off a few, including Oded Fehr as Carlos Oliveira and Michelle Rodriguez as Rain Ocampo, who we haven't seen since Resident Evil: Extinction and the first Resident Evil, respectively.

"Those are cool and all," you're thinking to yourself, "but what about Alice and that new outfit with a plethora of unnecessary buckles?"  That's what these two new internaitonal posters are for.  Both feature Milla Jovovich as the protagonist rocking her new buckle-intensive pleather outfit in front of backdrops that convey the scale of Retribution.

Resident Evil: Retribution also stars Sienna Guillory, Bingbing Li, Colin Salmon, Kevin Durand, Shawn Roberts, Johann Urb, and Boris Kodjoe.

The film hits theaters on September 14th, so pick up some Rogue 3D Eyewear right quick.
