When McDonagh titled the dark comedy Seven Psychopaths, it was all but guaranteed that we'd be treated to a series of posters somewhere down the line. All seven debuted at a variety of different sites throughout the day, showing off Olga Kurylenko, Christopher Walken, Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Abbie Cornish, Tom Waits, Woody Harrelson.
If you missed the trailer and inexplicably aren't clicking here to see it, the film follows Farrell as a struggling Los Angeles screenwriter who steps in some serious shit thanks to his two friends. Those guys, played by Rockwell and Walken, make their money by kidnapping dogs and then returning them for the reward money, but they choose the wrong dog when they grab the beloved Shih-Tzu of a violent gangster, played by Harrelson.

Mr. Walken, meanwhile, first showed up at Entertainment Weekly.

This next poster will be familiar if you frequent Fandango.

Rotten Tomatoes played host to the one who Rocks Well.

Thanks to MTV for this one, featuring the lovely Ms. Cornish.

Tom Waits. A bunny rabbit. Thank you, Hitfix. That's all we can say: thank you.

And this final character poster debuted at Vulture.

McDonagh is the fantastic playwright who made his fature debut with 2008's In Bruges, a film that's at once riotously funny, elegiac, thoughtful, crude, character-based, outrageous, and violent. It's sort of a perfect little movie, and its many fans have been waiting to see just what McDonagh does next.
They didn't get posters, but Gabourey Sidibe, Kevin Corrigan, and Zeljko Ivanek are all in the movie too. Ivanek actually showed up in In Bruges as "zee Canadien," who has a dinnertime encounter with Farrell's character.
Seven Psychopaths hits theaters on October 12th.
