In this clip, the Expendables' stoic leader Barney Ross, played once again by Sylvester Stallone, is getting shot at from all sides, pinning down he and his sidekick Lee Chrismas, gruffly portrayed by Jason Statham. After some shouted banter, Ross takes it upon himself to use one form of transportation against another.
It's got just about everything you'd expect from The Expendables, including copious gunfire, elder statesmen of action, an explosion, muscles, and a willful lack of subtext. About the only omission is a pithy one-liner to follow the successful implementation of Ross' plan. Maybe something about popping a wheelie.

Stallone, who wrote and directed the first film two years ago, stars here and did some work on the script, but decided not to direct this time around. Presiding over the mayhem this time is Simon West, an action director who has previously delivered Con-Air, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and those remakes of The Mechanic and When a Stranger Calls.
The draw here isn't a director, though. It's the cast. Led by Stallone and Statham, the roster this time features bruisers such as Terry Crews, Jean Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins, Liam Hemsworth, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Nan Yu, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
