Who needs co-op, when you've got friends like these?.
Next generation consoles will be defined by connectivity, to an utterly unheard-of degree. They will let us communicate and share gaming experiences in all sorts of ways, from SmartGlass-style auxiliary interaction through asymmetrical world messaging to sneakily-does-it drop-in co-op. It's going to be an enjoyable decade if you enjoy the presence of human beings.
