If you've been keeping an eye out on Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, you're going to love this. It seems a LittleBigPlanet 2 fan by the name of TheClassicEvil has painstakingly "re-imagined" The Last of Us' trailer using LBP2's assets!
Yep, this means we get to see The Last of Us' protagonists -- Ellie and Joel -- in Sackboy form! Give it a watch below.
I have to admit, the tension is certainly lessened by a ton once you see Sackboy in the driver's seat, no? Hopefully, this won't be the last game remade in LBP2.
Can you imagine Beyond: Two Souls, Killzone or some other Sony franchise being remade and Sackboy-ized? Mind you, I wouldn't say no if this was an alternative mode to a game. Kudos must also be given to Media Molecule for having a game that can even take a shot at this.
The Last of Us is set for release in 2013 exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
