We already know there's going to be a Call of Duty game coming out for Sony's PlayStation Vita later this year; however, we still don't know who's actually making it,
As it turns out, even Treyarch -- the developer behind Black Ops II -- doesn't know either!
In a quick chat with Videogamer, Treyarch's Director of Communications John Rafacz had this to say regarding the PS Vita Call of Dut game.
With regards to the Vita, all I can tell you is that it's quite literally declassified.
I'm guessing he meant "classfied" instead of "declassified," no?
Aside from this non-confirmation, Rafacz also wouldn't admit the existence of Black Ops II on the Wii U; although he admits that any technology that can enhance the Call of Duty experience is worth considering.
Right now we've announced that the game is coming for 360, PS3 and PC. Announcements regarding any other SKUs just haven't been made. When you talk about any technology that can enhance the Call of Duty experience, that's a technology that is worth considering...There's that core Call of Duty experience and that is what fans expects, so anything that helps advance that is worth considering.
Okay, John, I'll take that as a "maybe" then, no?
Which studio do you think is handiling development duties for Black Ops: Declassfied? Could it be Sledgehammer, Raven Software or even new Call of Duty studio Neversoft? Speculate away!
