DICE, the studio behind the Battlefield franchise, is holding a "Play with DICE" event this week -- though it's only open for Battlefield 3 Premium members.
So, if you have some sort of grudge against the developers, this might be a good time to play against them and rain hell on your preferred platform. It's also worth noting that the developers will have exclusive DICE dogtags that players can get by peforming knife takedowns.
For PC plaforms, the play date is already happening. So best to hop on to it and search for "DICE :: Game with DEV" servers now. The developers will be online from 17:00 CST to 20:00 CST.
If you're a console player, we've outlined the event dates for both platforms below.
PS3 Play Date Details (June 27)
You can join through the in-game server browser by searching for DICE GAME WITH DEV between 17:00 CET and 20:00 CET.
Xbox 360 Play Date and Details (June 28)
You can join through the in-game server browser by searching for DICE GAME WITH DEV between 17:00 CET and 20:00 CET.
While this is way better than the now-standard double XP events that most multiplayer games do, I'm just wondering why they're doing this on those dates instead of on the weekend where most people are free to play as long as they want.
Are you any of planning on joining in and stabbing a DICE developer this week? Let us know if you've gotten any dogtags!
