3 International Posters for Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph'3 International Posters for Disney's 'Wreck-It Ralph'

Earlier this month, the first trailer for Wreck-It Ralph confidently suggested that Disney Animation's next feature might have a downright Pixarian cleverness and heart, despite not coming from Pixar.  Now that we're all properly paying attention, Disney has unveiled three international banners for the comedic adventure, showing Wreck-It Ralph, Vanellope von Schweetz, Sergeant Calhoun, and Fix-it Felix.

The story centers on Ralph, who has spent the last three decades toiling away as the bad guy in an eight-bit arcade game with a striking similarity to Donkey Kong.  Tired of being forced into the bad guy role, the good-hearted Ralph exits his videogame, setting out to become a hero in an entirely different world.  In these posters, you can see the burly Ralph, voiced by John C. Reilly, sharing his particular banner with von Schweetz, a Sarah Silverman-voiced figure from a Mario-Kart-inspired racing game.  Then there's Sergeant Calhoun, a first-person shooter heroine voiced by Jane Lynch, and Ralph's nemesis, Fix-It Felix, whose voice is supplied by Jack McBrayer.

All three banners are here thanks to Live for Films.

The film is the feature directorial debut of Rich Moore.  Moore may be new to theatrical movies, but he directed 71 episodes of Futurama, several classic episodes of The Simpsons from the series' golden years, and even a few episodes of the criminally short lived and underrated The Critic.  So yeah, he's good.

Wreck-It Ralph hits theaters in 2D and 3D on November 2nd, meaning you've got plenty of time to get your hands on some Rogue 3D Eyewear.

Here's the official synopsis:

Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidently unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?
