Game adaptations of movies are nothing new. In fact, they're kind of expected these days, but what if they're done in 8-bit glory? Well, it seems Freddie Wong, digital magician extraordinaire, has done exactly that for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter -- though do keep in mind that this is just a trailer and not an actual game.
Fake game or not, give it a look! It's one charming piece of work.
If you're wondering why the folks over at 20th Century Fox commissioned this on instead of just, y'know, an actual game, that's a question we seem to all have at the moment.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is based on a novel of the same name. The novel gives a a fake (but interesting) take as the famous president supposedly moonlights as a vampire hunter with his trusty ax.Yep, it's as ludicrous as most videogame plots we have nowadays, no?
