You know when EA was touting Mass Effect 3 earlier this year and they released a trailer for it called "Take Earth Back?" No? Well, either you're going to watch it for the first time now or see the exact same thing -- except this one is for the Wii U!
What are the differences? I'd love to tell you they added a cinematic or two, but sadly, there's none. No added footage, no showing off how the Wii U's tablet controller will work with the game, no nothing. Unless you count that "Coming Soon" appearing at the end of the trailer. If so, then good for you, Nintendo fan.
Here it is for those still inclined to see it.
While me, and other Mass Effect players might not be the target audience for this, I just have to ask. who are they targeting then? Mass Effect fans will undoubtedly have played this already on PCs or on consoles. If you're a Nintendo fan who's just divining in to the franchise for the first time, then I gather a lot Mass Effect's story and lore will fly past you.
Am I being too snarky or should Nintendo and EA strive a little harder when showing off trailers for Wii U ports? Sound off and let us know.
