E3's an important time of year for everybody, whether you're pimping a sweet-natured downloadable platformer or a shooter that's so gruff and chunky it attracts mountaineers and drilling teams. But for some games, games that face an uphill challenge for our affections, it's the difference between life and death. Showcase a game at E3, and you'll make a big splash. Just be careful you aren't swamped by the resulting tidal wave.
