Gameplay footage is for wimps.
Many moons ago, a lonely, hard-beset PR person locked in a basement somewhere had an inspiring thought. "Hey you guys, real life looks better than videogames!" And lo, the live action videogame trailer was born. Later, another PR person had another inspiring thought. "People have pimples and wrinkles in real life, so let's motion-capture everything and apply our own, pimple and wrinkle-free textures". And lo, the CGI trailer was born.
