With the second Men in Black sequel now playing in theaters, though, the technically-minded folks at Sony Pictures Imageworks are breaking down some of the visual effects that contribute to creating the uniquely cartoonish yet recognizable world of the MiB. Three new videos, courtesy of Movie Fanatic, delve into the film's effects.
The first could be considered a spoiler, and includes footage from a lunar prison break early in the film. Visual Effects Supervisor Jay Redd explains how a notable effect was created, though Nicole Scherzinger's bosoms are rather improbably not the subjects of this featurette. Instead, this behind-the-scenes look delves into the weasel's life, starting with a design by Rick Baker and ending with a remarkably detailed critter.
