I remember back in the day when Toonami first aired. It seem like ages ago that we had little Tom on the screen acting all cool and showing us our daily scheduled cartoon programs. Reboot, Voltron, Sailor Moon, and Thundercats were a few of the many shows that I held dear back in the good ol' days. Toonami was very much a part of my childhood in the late 90s and early 21st century. Toonami left us in 2008 but now it's back.
Toonami will be relaunching on May 26th, 2012 on Adult Swim and Cartoon Network has a lineup. You can check it out below.
12:00 a.m. – Bleach 12:30 a.m. – Deadman Wonderland 01:00 a.m. – Casshern Sins 01:30 a.m. – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood 02:00 a.m. – Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG 02:30 a.m. – Cowboy Bebop
Ghost in the Shell and Cowboy Bebop are a couple oldies but goodies. Deadman Wonderland sounds strange, like Parnoia Agent strange and Casshern Sins has an interesting title. I'll have to check them out when Toonami airs this week.
