The image of the Bat-symbol being formed by Gotham's skyscrapers violently shaking apart is familiar from the first teaser poster, but this one adds the fiery effects for greater impact and plops the Caped Crusader himself into the scene. Perhaps to clarify for anybody confused as to whether or not The Dark Knight Rises is a Batman movie.
This poster, very much in keeping with posters for its predecessors Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, debuted at the sequel's official facebook page.

There are just about two months to the day until Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie completes his trilogy and bids a fond farewell to the rebooted Batman we all came to love so very much. Anticipation for the film has been fevered since the credits started rolling on The Dark Knight, and at this point, Warner Bros could probably successfully sell the film with a few sign-spinners standing besides highways. Despite that, the next two months will see a ceaseless marketing effort.
Christian Bale pummels criminals in a cape and cowl for the last time in this sequel, while Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman also close the book on their characters. The new franchise castmembers include Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple, Daniel Sunjata, Aidan Gillen, Josh Pence, and Matthew Modine.
The Dark Knight Rises arrives on regular-sized and IMAX screens this July 20th.
