Today, we have our first sneak peek look at a clip from the series, as well as the second official image of Stephen McFeely as Oliver Queen, the billionaire whose island-survival experience inspires him to take up an alternate persona as Green Arrow, his city's foremost socialist superhero.  The character, a member of the Justice League, previously played a recurring part on the Superman series Smallville.  His unrelated, solo, televised adventures will air on the CW every Wednesday starting this Fall.

In March, the first image from Arrow showed McFeely in costume as Green Arrow, a costume designed by Colleen Atwood.  The Oscar-winning costume designer recently talked to IAR about her next feature endeavor, Snow White and the Huntsman.  Check that out by clicking right here.

The series was developed by Vampire Diaries co-executive producer Andrew Kreisberg and Green Lantern writers Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim.  David Nutter, whose credits include episodes of Game of Thrones, Entourage, The Pacific, and Shameless, directed the pilot episode.
