Jumbo-Sized 'The Dictator' Clip: Aladeen Takes to the SkiesJumbo-Sized 'The Dictator' Clip: Aladeen Takes to the Skies

This Wednesday, Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy The Dictator arrives at theaters across the nation, but today, a new extended clip reveals just about four minutes of the movie.  Considering that the film clocks in at a brisk 83 minutes, those four minutes represent a pretty good little patch of The Dictator.

The clip has Baron Cohen as the de-bearded Admiral General Aladeen and the always-welcome Jason Mantzoukas as sidekick Nadal.  Many a trailer and teevee spot has featured the two of them horrifying a couple of tourists on a helicopter flight over Manhattan, but this clip provides the full sequence of Aladeen and Nadal's helicopter adventure.

The clip, complete with an introduction by Baron Cohen in character as the Wadiyan despot, premiered at Apple today.  The embed below is courtesy of the good folks at Coming Soon, but if you want to see this whole thing in high definition, skip right over to Apple.

A month ago, Paramount unveiled the first clip from the film, which had Baron Cohen playing off of Anna Faris, who plays the proprietor of an organic produce market.  A few weeks back, the opening scene of The Dictator made its way online, providing a brief history of Aladeen and showing Aasif Mandvi's role in the comedy.

Mandvi is just one of many funny people who show up in the movie, which boasts roles of varying sizes for Mantzoukas, Ben Kingsley, J.B. Smoove, Chris Elliott, Fred Armisen, Chris Parnell, Jessica St. Clair, B.J. Novak, Kevin Corrigan, Nasim Pedrad, John C. Reilly, and even Megan Fox as a version of herself.

Baron Cohen reunites with his Borat and Bruno director Larry Charles for their first straightforward narrative feature together, and we'll see the fruits of their latest collaboration in just a few days, on May 16th.
