The clip premiered on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as Kristen Stewart, the film's Snow White, was a guest on the talk show. It's a brief glimpse at the movie, but it's pretty much exclusively action, as Snow White and the Huntsman, played by Chris Hemsworth, traverse the woods and encounter a rather intimidating, Swamp Thing-looking troll.

Stewart has said that this take on Snow White emphasizes her as a warrior figure, and we've seen images of her in a getup that brings to mind Joan of Arc. This clip reiterates that, as the heroine is undaunted by that thoroughly mean-looking beast.
On to the new poster, which is courtesy of IMP Awards and gives premium placement to Chris Hemsworth. It's probably not a coincidence that the biggest of the floating heads on this one sheet belongs to one of the stars of The Avengers, which just had the biggest opening weekend of all-time. It took some time to find the right Huntsman, but Universal's gotta be pretty psyched with the choice of Hemsworth by now.

Commercial director Rupert Sanders makes his feature directorial debut with this film, which is intended to be the first in a series. He's working from a screenplay by Evan Daughty, John Lee Hancock, and Hossein Amini.
Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth occupy the title roles, while Charlize Theron plays the evil Queen Ravenna. Interestingly, this is the first in two Charlize Theron films arriving on consecutive weeks, dropping the Friday before Ridley Scott's Prometheus, in which she plays a supporting role. The rest of the Snow White and the Huntsman cast includes Sam Claflin, Ray Winstone, Ian McShane, Nick Frost, Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins, Eddie Marsan, and Lily Cole.
The film hits theaters on June 1st.
