Draw Something Suffers Embarassing Crash in Users

While it wasn’t too long ago that we were reporting on Draw Something’s explosive success on the mobile market, it looks as though that fame could have been short lived, with user dropping dramatically following Zynga’s purchase of OMGPOP.
Although Draw Something enjoyed over 14 million registered players and over 35 million downloads in just 7 weeks, it looks as though user numbers have dropped to below 10 million in recent weeks. This doesn’t bode well for Zynga at all, whose share prices have also halved following the purchase.
I guess people can only see so many crudely drawn penises before they call it quits.
