It's saying something about the medium's diversity that this year's most addictive game so far, Trials Evolution, couldn't be further away from last year's dopamine-fest, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, without boarding a rocketship to Mars. The day somebody manages to recreate Skyrim inside Trials Evolution's level editor will be the day civilization itself tumbles to a broken-legged halt.
