The Expendables 2 has debuted a new image, featuring grizzled old-timers Sly Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger firing three massive guns… at the same time!

The new image features the trio unleashing hell on an unseen target whilst practising their best "I'm hard, me" expressions. Arnie in particular looks as though he's never been away.

The Expendables 2 follows Bruce Willis' character, Church, as he reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheque. This being an action film, the mission isn't quite as easy as was billed, and one of the team is murdered on the job.

Naturally, the Expendables aren't about to let such a thing slide, and the new mission becomes a quest for revenge. This time, as they say, it's personal.

Directed by Con Air's Simon West, and co-starring the likes of Jason Statham, Chuck Norris,  Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude van Damme, The Expendables 2 will open in the UK on 17 August 2012. Let the scenery-chewing commence!
