Last month, you may have seen the domestic poster, a gorgeous painterly affair that put young stars Kara Hayward and Jared Gilman in a wooded setting. Naturally, this international affair couldn't just list the names of famous actors involved in the film. It has to actually include their faces, since global audiences are always happy to see familiar stars.
Still, this international poster isn't an ugly floating heads type of thing, it's packed with Andersonian detail so look real close and take it all in. Big thanks to JoBlo, which debuted the poster.

Ah, the Anderson wide shot, how I love thee. For his first live-action feature since 2007's The Darjeeling Limited, the director once again teams up with cinematographer Robert Yeoman, who has shot all of his features, as well as Bridesmaids, The Squid and the Whale, and Get Him to the Greek (one of these things is not like the other).
Co-written by Anderson and Roman Coppola, the story follows a pair of adolescents, played by Hayward and Gilman, on a New England island in the 1960s. The young couple, very much in love, run off into the wilderness together. As a huge storm gathers, the eccentric locals mount a harried search party to find the youngsters. Amongst those locals are characters played by Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Jason Schwartzman, and Bob Balaban.
Moonrise Kingdom begins its limited release on May 25th.
