I fell in love with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings around six hours in, shortly after noticing that the magical rune I'd engraved on my sword was, indeed, visible on the hand-tooled blade strapped to Geralt's back in-game. It's a minor touch, but it demonstrates just how much blood and sweat developer CD Projekt has poured into the game's feudal fantasy world.
