Zynga CEO and founder Mark Pincus has filed a restraining order against a former stripper, who he claims is stalking him.
Pincus filed for the restraining order in Feburary, claiming in a declaration to a court in San Francisco that Vera Svenchina, a former stripper in and amateur filmmaker from Russia, threatened his wife and family. He also claims that Svenchina visited his home in person.
Included in Pincus’ declaration are emails and voicemails that he allegedly received from Svechina over several days in mid-February. In these voicemails and emails, Svenchina makes several bizarre claims, including that Zynga was her Russian family's idea, that Google's cofounders killed her father. She also states that Pincus's children are "ugly babies" and that "I wish them all the worst."
In May 2012, Svechina was admitted to a mental ward for 72 hours after reporting to the Mountain View Police Department that Google was sending messages to her brain, telling her to kill herself.
Svechina has also been caught trespassing in Google headquarters, and what appears to be a letter from Pincus to Svechina written in 2004 has surfaced. In the letter, Pincus reportedly offers to help invest in one of her films, but the legitimacy of the letter is yet to be confirmed.
A judge granted the restraining order in March, based on "stalking" and "a credible threat of violence."
