Retired WWE star Dave Bautista makes the obligatory leap into the world of corny, old-fashioned actioners. An ex-con going straight as a bouncer, the moody meathead finds himself up to his massive neck in crooked cops and tank-sized mobsters as he tries to clear his name of an armed robbery. Crank’s Amy Smart, Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell and Machete’s Danny Trejo add B-movie pedigree, while Bautista patches plot holes with a few bone-crunching smackdowns. But rarely does it pump the pulse.
