Silent Hill: Book of Memories Delayed Again

There has been tons of news about Silent Hill lately. This month was supposed to be the month that Silent Hill took the gaming world by storm, but so far that hasn't been the case. Between the delays and the fact that the Silent Hill HD collection is not quite as great as people were expecting, it seems like Konami may have missed the opportunity to get us obsessed with the creepy little town again.

Unfortunately, the only news we have on the Silent Hill front is news of another delay. Konami has officially released a statement saying that the game has been delayed again. It reads simply: 'Unfortunately Book of Memories has been delayed. Stay tuned for a more formal announcement.'

I was kind of looking forward to playing some Silent Hill of the go, but perhaps the delay is for the best. Everyone likes it when games get more 'polish' right? So far the date of release has been changed to May 31st, 2012, but that is likely a placeholder date, as it falls on a Thursday. Does that mean it could come sooner than that, or will it fall even later?

I'm not getting my hopes up for a May release at this point.
