Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
Remember the remake of the classic game that news websites were teasing a week ago? Fate would have it that Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is bound not for the PC, but for the iPad.
Presumably, the game will only run on all versions of the iPad, which offer a much lower resolution and far less horsepower to drive the game.Update: The game will run on all iterations of the iPad.
According to the developers at Overhaul Games, the enhanced edition of the game will run on an "upgraded and improved version" of the Infinity Engine, and will include the entirety of Baldur's Gate and its expansion pack, Tales of the Sword Coast. In addition to the original adventure, the game will include all new content including "a new adventure" and a new party member.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is slated to hit the App Store this summer.
