“Listen lady – why don’t you try using some deodorant, because you smell like shit!” – The idiotic protagonist of this game. Need I say more? Probably not, but I’m going to anyway.

It’s every now and then one of these games comes along and makes me and every other self-respecting gamer sigh in exasperation. What can only be described as something that came right off of Adult Swim, this new Lollipop Chainsaw trailer has every cliché the gaming world has been trying to buck – most of us, anyway: over-sexualized women, gore at every turn, and a host of other things filled with depravity.

It’s a sad thing that Warner Bros. has chosen to go down this route. It’s like the copout of video games. “Let’s throw in a bunch of stuff that a 15-year old thinks is cool and we’ll make money.” This isn’t enriching, it’s not funny, and it certainly isn’t going to sell well. Go ahead, prove me wrong. If you do, then I’ve lost all hope for the human race. With all that said, I give you the trailer:
