ArenaNet has announced three pre-purchase editions of Guild Wars 2 ahead of the game's release "when it's finished". It's expected to come out later this year.

The game will be pre-released in three forms: Digital Edition, Digital Deluxe, and Collector's Edition. All pre-purchase editions will come with access to Guild Wars 2's beta weekend events, three days of headstart access, and an item called the Hero's Band. The game will also be available in a standard boxed edition in retail stores.

The Digital Deluxe and Collector's Editions of the game include the Summon Mistfire Wolf Elite Skill, a Rytlock Miniature pet, a Golem Banker, the Chalice of Glory item, and the Tome of Influence item.

In addition to the aforementioned goodies, the Collector's Edition will also come with a 10-inch figure of Rytlock, a 112-page Making of Guild Wars book, a custom art frame, an art portfolio and five art prints, and a soundtrack CD.

Guild Wars 2 is exclusive to the PC and has been in closed beta since December 2011. Pre-order it here.
