These days, it seems like many games are an exercise in hand-holding. They walk you through every little challenge, never quite letting you fail or forcing you to use your actually brainpower to overcome the puzzles. Especially rare is a game that requires you to gain skill or be unable to advance. If you enjoy having to learn a game and practice it to make progress, you've likely already heard of Trials HD.
Trials is a series in which you ride a motorcycle through increasingly difficult challenges, crashing and crashing and crashing as you try to master riding at the proper speed and shifting your weight at the proper time to overcome whatever the game has put in your way. If this doesn't sound that good to you, you need not apply to Trails Evolution.
If it sounds great, then you'll want to know that Xbox.com briefly showed a release date of April 18 before changing to December 2799. Eurogamer managed to snap a pic of the page with the April 18 release date before it was switched, and it seems likely that the April 18 date will end up panning out.
Are you a fan of the Trials series? Or do you not care for games that will steal hours of your life just to complete a single level? Either way, the Trials series is worth a try if you love great games.
