If you are a fan of side-scrolling shooter games, the options for recent releases are a little thin on the ground. You've got...hmm. There was...no, that was something else. Oh, there's Pixel Junk Shooter! But that game is PS3 only. If you're looking for a good side-scrolling shooter specifically on XBLA, you don't exactly have a king's bounty to choose from.
Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality are hoping to change that with their upcoming Sine Mora. It's a story driven shooter with music composed by Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill and Shadows of the Damned fame. The game is set in a steam-punkish world, and is likely to contain a good deal of the wackiness for which Grasshopper is known. The game is slated for release on March 21, but the cost of entry has yet to be revealed.
In the meantime, you'll want to check out this trailer and get yourself excited for release!
