Elektra Luxx is actually a sequel of sorts to Women in Trouble, but Luxx can be appreciated on its own. For Elektra Luxx has charm, wit, true hilarity, and more than a little mystery, along with its joyous celebration of sexy womanhood. Writer-director Sebastian Gutierrez (companion of Gugino) appears poised to take over the flashy-sex-comedy genre as first crafted by Pedro Almodóvar (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown).
"What kind of person are you?" Retiring pregnant porn star Elektra Luxx (Gugino) fills her days by teaching a sexology class. After being approached by a stranger with a tie to her dead ex-boyfriend her day starts to get weird. If you have seen the previews to this then you think you know what the movie is about. You would be wrong. It's a comedy, there's no doubt--there are some absolutely hilarious moments but at it's core there is actually a very moving story.

'The Eagle' is loosely based on Rosemary Sutcliff's novel The Eagle of the Ninth (The Roman Britain Trilogy), with its sweeping cinematography and the hauntingly atmospheric score by Atli Orvarsson, this movie set in Britain 140 AD starts as a slice-of-life military drama and quickly twists off into epic adventure.
Marcus(Channing Tatum) is forced out of his career as a soldier by battle wounds received while defending his first command post in distant Britain. The son of an infamous Roman commander who marched 5000 men into northern Britain and subsequently vanished, Marcus's dream of winning back his family's honor through soldierly deeds is summarily crushed by his discharge from service.

With the last Season of 'The Closer' coming to TNT - Monday, July 11 at 9/8c, we throw out this little ditty of a DVD, so you can get caught up before the finale of the show hits the airwaves. The Closer is one of the best series in it's class "Crime-drama" it will be sad to see it go after season 7 ends.
As the new season of THE CLOSER opens, the squad is moving into its new high-tech digs. But it’s not long before they’re wishing they could be back in their old space, where a plain white board nailed to the wall was more practical than the troublesome sliding screens in their new murder room. But true to form, Brenda is determined to bend the space to her style.
There's a scene in "Citizen Kane" where one of the characters mentions seeing a beautiful girl on a trolley and he regrets not sitting next to her, and not one day goes by where he doesn't think of that girl. We all have experiences and memories like that, we wonder what our lives would have been like if we did sit next to that girl, or if we did talk to her, or get her number (undoubtedly, we lay more importance on these experiences than they may deserve. They're giant `what if' moments in our lives, the path not taken). But what if that moment of decision is the intrusion of destiny or fate? And we we're supposed to be with that person? That is the theme of "The Adjustment Bureau."

Billed as “a tale of modern-day outlaws”, this engaging doc follows British eco activists over a year.
These members of groups like Climate Camp and Plane Stupid pitch their tents on the roof of a coal-burning power-station, superglue themselves to a City bank’s trading floor, and endure “kettling” by the police.
Director Emily James doesn’t explore how the campaigns are financed, and there’s no mention of infiltration by the authorities.
