In the new clip, helpfully entitled "Face Off," it's a battle between the technological armor of Iron Man and the ethereal magic of Mjölnir, Thor's thunder-commanding hammer. The crossover between Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, the leads in their respective franchises, is appropriately big.
If you don't mind having an action beat or two spoiled, it provides a counterpoint to yesterday's snippet of Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Thor's bro Loki.

For anyone keeping count, this is clip number six from The Avengers, and at this rate, we'll have seen a substantial portion of the movie by the time it arrives in two and a half weeks. We've seen Black Widow kicking ass, Maria Hill and Nick Fury talking stakes, Thor and Captain America in alien fisticuffs, as well as dialogue between another Earthling and an evil Asgardian.
You know the deal by now. Joss Whedon directs Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg, and Cobie Smulders.
