Rise Of The Guardians has released a first official trailer online, in which a host of children's fantasy figures must join forces in order to ward off the cruel intentions of the Boogeyman.

Executive produced by Guillermo Del Toro and adapted from William Joyce's children's stories, the film will show a different side to the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny et al, as they perform their duties as guardians of childhood against an evil spirit named Pitch.

With a particularly badass Santa (voiced by Alec Baldwin) leading the way, the stage is set for a big old showdown, with the happiness of the world's children at stake!

Take a look at the new trailer below…

We love those naughty and nice tats Santa's rocking on his forearms, and Hugh Jackman's Aussie Easter Bunny already looks set to make off with all the best lines. Meanwhile, Jude Law's Pitch seems a suitably diabolical antagonist.

Also starring the vocal talents of Chris Pine and Isla Fisher, Rise Of The Guardians will open in the UK on 30 November 2012. Don't stop believing...
