Streaming video service now available for Nintendo's home console, pushed to later in the year for portable.
In October, Nintendo said it would bring Hulu Plus to the Wii and 3DS before the year was out, but that did not happen. Today, Nintendo launched the service for the Wii, but 3DS gamers will have to wait even longer.
Wii gamers can download the Hulu Plus app today on the system through the Wii Shop Channel, and those without a Hulu Plus account will score a free two-week trial. As for the Hulu Plus 3DS app, Nintendo said only that it was planned for "later this year."
